As you can see in the header, the project is half Metroidvania and half RPG.
The game will feature an intense story, quick-combo-based combat, a crafting system, RPG elements condensed into a Metroidvania world, and unique abilities that will allow players to enjoy the game in their style. The game is centered around a conflict between two kingdoms that utilize magic and machines to overcome each other, although the conflict is a lot deeper than most realize. The gameplay/combat will be fast-paced and centered around blending items that you make/find, switching between party members, and exploration.
Pretty cool, right? I can't release any more information until we have more of the game done. This is an extremely long-term, careful, and slow project, so there might not be anything for a while. However, I will leave you with some concept art and music created by team member Saltasaur. Please do note that none of this is final and just proof of concept, almost everything here is guaranteed to be different.
As it stands, we are still in the concept phase. Our current plan is to develop a bunch of smaller games built on the concepts of this game. When we feel ready, we will begin the actual development of this dream project!
